Hi friends! After a long hiatus (and a website facelift), we meet again.
The past year and a half has been a blur of moving and getting to know a new city, jobs ending and beginning, creating home, traveling, making new friends and entering different seasons with old ones. There's of course far more that could be said about all of this—the happy and sad and mess and grace—but it would take a long talk over drinks to do them justice.
Once upon a time, I was photographing and posting all the time. But as life and work shifted, I knew I needed this site (and my photography in general) to change with me, too. ("I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now..." jk jk)
In my current roles as Creative Director for Frontier Fellowship and Copywriter / Instagram Manager for Virginia Dare Dress Co., I spend my days writing, designing and storytelling. And while I love having so many outlets for communication, I realized I simply didn't have enough energy (or words) for another Instagram account, Facebook page or social media schedule.
I'm still taking photos on the regular, but I'm not currently booking clients. The sad part is most of those photos keep living on my laptop and rarely see the light of day.
So in this season of life, I decided to find a way to share some of those photos and stories without constantly feeling as though I can't keep up. I adore perfectly branded platforms with the best of them. I'm just saying yes to a simpler approach and making room for what's most real and important in life right now (and maybe finally getting around to meal planning?).
If you've been here since the beginning, love you, mean it. And if you've made your way here for the first time, thanks for dropping by. I'm excited to share the adventures with you.
